Launch Of Self Service Banner Advertising

The New York Times and AdReady have jointly announced the launch of their Self-Service Advertising. It is more of a banner advertising facility that would enable small business organizations to organize online advertisement campaigns on the NY Times website.

London, 11 June, 2008: There is a new strategic alliance that has evolved to facilitate banner advertising. The New York Times and AdReady have heralded the launch of their self service advertising. This service facilitates the small business enterprises to conduct online display advertisement campaigns over NY Times website.

The NY Times had been long held a coveted position in the Internet news world of US. This initiative brings serious concerns about banner advertising. The word self service is no good than free, as this may too be a charged form of advertising. In an appropriate sense, this service can facilitate the local advertisers only.

According to Nielsen Online, the NYTimes.com boasted of 17.9 million unique visitors in the month of April. The New York Times Company was the No.1 newspaper web site in the US, which had this position long held.

No doubt that NY Times has been a pioneer in news service but it is skeptical for ensuring banner advertising. In addition, it cannot be presumed that the single website would be able to give place to various advertisements. There might be chances of views being missed by the advertisers. Let's see where the nouveau solutions take the online ad world.
